GBC 301: A Leader’s World - Dealing with Change
 This unique course has the power to teach a leader how to leverage his or her leadership in the midst of a changing world.

Change is difficult because it makes people feel vulnerable. When people feel vulnerable they downshift in their thinking and tend to stick to what they already now. So when we need most to change, we are least able to.

This workshop is focused on helping people learn how to have courage in the midst of change . In a world that is constantly changing, every leader needs to learn how to grow and prosper in the midst of new opportunities all around them that are unrecognizable.

Core Concepts include:
Change is the norm – What does that mean for leaders?  The dilemma of risk and stability.  How a human responds to change.  The importance of perception.  It involves a type of death, how do you deal with that?  Issues of control in dealing with change.  The importance of the big picture. Creating a safe place to change and much more.

Web Based Course Includes:
An online course is currently being develop that includes daily reading and journaling with action research options for the work place.

Workshop:
A two day workshop that submerses each participant in activities, role playing and exercises to practice and engage with others in developing the skills of dealing with change.
